What is a summer school?
The schools are usually focused on a specific topic to provide participants with deeper insight into the subject and enhance their professional knowledge and skills. Summer school programmes often include lectures, workshops, discussions, practical exercises and projects, as well as excursions and cultural activities.
The summer schools are international, which means that participants come from different countries, and you can get the opportunity to meet students and teachers with similar interests from all over the world. This international experience will help you gain an exciting experience in your CV that may be of use in your future career.
The summer school is also a suitable alternative for students who cannot or do not want to go abroad for long-term mobility.
Each year, CZU students have the opportunity to apply for a summer school in a number of different destinations. The latest offers of summer schools organised by CZU are regularly published in the news section of International Relations. It is also recommended to follow the announcements shared on the websites of individual faculties.
In addition, it is possible to apply for summer schools within the university network Euroleague for Life Sciences. These programmes often focus on specialised topics in the life sciences and can be professionally enriching.
